BUDGET TRACKING
Using Buildertrend; we maintain document folders for regularly updated financial records, invoicing, statements, and communications.
Everything goes into a cost inbox and then it is sorted by cost code. Only bills that have been paid and have an invoice attached can show up in the budget.​ We believe in total transparency when it comes to billing. We also use this system to manage change orders and variances


DAILY LOGS
Daily Logs are another feature on BuilderTrend. They allow us to keep a visual record of how the project is going and allows the client to keep track of things.
This also allows us to backtrack to any day in the project for investigative accounting and determine what was done and if it matches our other records
We all get a great opportunity to be sure, visually, that the project is on track without having to be onsite in person.

SCHEDULING
Builder Trend is a project management and construction scheduling tool which features a GANTT schedule format, as well as list format and calendar. Builder Trend allows us to chart out the project and track it in detail, seeing what tasks run in tandem. Ensuring that your project is on schedule. We keep the schedule updated, and tie the schedule to alerts for payment draws, deliveries, and subcontractors PO's

CLIENT PORTAL
The client portal is your hub. You and your partners can log in and review the project at any time.
You may maintain access to the portal after the project is completed and can download filed for your records. In case you need photos of the mechanicals or framing etc. they If we have multiple active projects; you can select each project from a drop down menu; keeping everything organized in one place

​SELECTIONS MANAGEMENT AND ORDERING
Anyone who has been involved in renovation work before has an idea of the hurdle that selections pose. A large renovation project may have several hundred selections. The details of these selections are critical, and require confirmation from the contractor and the client. Finish color, brand, model number, lead time, cost comparison to the initial allowance, comparison to other options, mood board groups, color pallets, sets vs individual items, shipping costs, item dependent accessories, tile trim and grout matching, lighting dependent on controllers, and on and on. If any of these details are overlooked, or mistaken, the result is time and money to return the items, source new items, or take the losses. We have worked very hard to develop a selections and ordering system that works and mitigates these issues We pass along all of our wholesale pricing and upload the purchase receipts that display our cost for every item​​
For those familiar with renovations, the number of selections can be overwhelming, with major projects requiring hundreds of detailed decisions.
