For project management, we use a software called Buidertrend. Buildertrend is a phenomenal project management platform that we use to organize every
phase of the project.

Let's see what we're getting into.

Once you accept our proposal, we will send you an invite to create a Buildertrend account. This account will be our interface for the project. It looks like this:

Scheduling

There is a scheduling system that we use for larger projects, and it is very helpful in determining
how delays might affect the final completion date.

When our employees are working on your project, they 'clock in' using the program as well. The
time clock also records a GPS stamp that ensures that they are only clocked in when onsite.

We believe in total transparency when it comes to billing.

- You can keep track of your budget, change orders and invoices as well.

- For remodeling work, most of our contracts are billed by time and materials.

There are six reasons that we do work this way.

There are many contractors that will bid a low number to get the work, once construction starts they will bill you for change orders that rack up the cost of the job. In this way, contractors will take advantage of their clients.

There are also clients that will accept a reasonable bid for a remodel and stall the project when necessary and legitimate change orders do come into play (which is nearly inevitable in these older Atlanta homes) or will demand that work be included or done at no cost.

When the work is done on a time and materials basis, the billing is completely transparent. You only pay for what you get. There is never an obligation to continue a certain way with the project, as the scope remains flexible.

If you get through the demo phase and learn that you will need more framing or structural work than expected, you can pivot easily and with no repercussions or breach of contract.

Every materials purchase that is made is uploaded to Buildertrend for your review. All subcontractor estimates and invoices are uploaded to your account for total transparency as well.

Because we use a time clock with GPS tags for our employees, you know you are always only getting billed to time spent on your project.
